Crowns and bridges give us many options to restore teeth and improve your ability to smile and chew. A crown is usually made from porcelain or zirconia and can repair or replace a tooth. A bridge is made up of a crown on either end with one or more artificial teeth in the middle. It will span the gap left behind by missing teeth.
To ensure precise results, we’ll use an intraoral scanner to take digital impressions inside your mouth. Then we’ll send this data to our lab partner so your new restoration can be made. Here are a few of the ways we can use a crown or bridge:

Great dentist and staff. Very glad I chose to come here for my dental visit. Definitely recommend to friends and family!
This was my first visit at a new dentist office and I was nervous to get my checkup. I enjoyed my hygienist Carmen, the cleaning it was very thorough and the staff was very professional. I will definitely be back for my 6 month visit!
Dr. LaPera had been my dentist for 15 years. He is extremely professional and has a wonderful pleasant manner. I recommended him to a friend from NYC and she now goes regularly. I am fortunate to have found him when I moved from NY.
Excellent dental practice. I have been a patient for 20 years. The doctors and staff are professional, on time and caring. Great communication and they always put the patient’s needs first. I have recommended Summit Dental to other friends who have also been highly satisfied. My teeth love these guys.
This is the best dentist I have been to. The place is very clean they have been sanitizing everything down before covid-19 came into existence. The doctor is the best dentist i know of he is very kind, patient, and gentle. His work is perfect.
I would highly recommend this dental practice for all dental care. Dr. Le Pera is a true perfectionist and his care for the patients is his main priority. My experience is my main focus to this review. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Carmen, the Hygienist, is also a wonderful asset to the practice. She is thorough with her cleanings and care for her patients. Definitely an A+
Loved my hygienist Carmen. She gave me lots of helpful tips and didn’t use electric tools to clean. I loved this because I have a lot of sensitivity and the electric tools exacerbates my symptoms. Which means she listened to my worries and honored them. Dr. Le Pera is awesome as always and keeps me well informed.
Really the best dentist I could ever ask for. I know they are a trusted source and Dr. L is truly one of a kind. Someone who genuinely cares about his clients- it always feels like family. I do all my work here- what I love is that if Dr. L is super honest – and if he knows of someone better suited for a particular procedure he will tell me transparently and recommend the best. No dentist can beat him. He doesn’t look to do more work than needed and always takes a conservative approach to help retain your natural teeth as much as possible. (Important to me since I’ve broken my 3 front teeth in half due to a fall and he’s done brilliant veneers). The receptionist and support staff are lovely as well. And if you need a cleaning ask for Carmen – she’s fantastic.
From the warm welcome upon arrival, to the thorough cleaning by Carmen the Hygienist, to the professional and gentle exam by Dr Le Pera, my experience was terrific. I’ll be back!
It is difficult to say just how much your new crown or bridge will cost unless your dentist has had an opportunity to examine your mouth as well as develop a therapy plan. You’ll have a chance to ask about any concerns to ensure you understand what to anticipate, plus we’ll make certain you have all the details needed to choose what’s ideal for your scenario.
Lots of dental insurance plans cover a portion of crowns and bridges. You would need to talk to your specific insurer to see what they will cover so you can know your out-of-pocket expense.
Dental crowns can work in numerous circumstances to either fix a damaged tooth or replace a missing tooth. If you have a worn or damaged tooth, a crown will cap it to recover your eating ability and stop additional problems. Crowns can be attached to dental implants to replace missing teeth, too.
Many factors can ultimately determine how long your new crown or bridge will last. The location of the restoration, your at-home dental care regimen, and the types of foods you routinely eat will all play a role. However, you can expect most dental crowns and bridges to last at least five to seven years.
We can see you as soon as tomorrow!
