Did you know that April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month? We’re encouraging all of our patients to make sure their next checkup is scheduled! During your examination, we will perform an oral cancer screening as well as look for other oral health problems.

By catching these types of issues when they are small, it’s much easier to treat. It’s especially important to stay vigilant about screening for oral cancer if you smoke, drink alcohol regularly, or have the HPV virus. Those can increase your risks for this disease.
