Dr. Le Pera is amazing! Came out early on a Sunday for an emergency… Helped my daughter and put her at ease… From the Doctor, to the hygienist , to the secretarial staff- all are outstanding!
When something is wrong with your teeth, it affects everything you do. To repair your smile, you may want to get dental crowns and bridges in Hackensack. We use these restorations to help patients:
Dental restorations should look, feel, and function as well as healthy teeth do. To discuss your teeth replacement options or repair options, call 201-366-7001 to schedule a free consultation with one of our doctors at Summit Dental.
Dental crowns are one of the most versatile services in all of dentistry. We use them primarily for restorative purposes, but modern crowns have clear cosmetic benefits as well. You could get a crown to fix:
Crowns also can be used to cap a tooth as part of a root canal procedure.
To make sure you are getting the right restoration for your problematic tooth, we use intraoral scanning at our office. This helps with designing a crown. It also can help us determine if an inlay or onlay would be better for you. Inlays and onlays can repair damage that may not require a full crown.
A missing tooth or teeth can lead to additional problems. That gap in your smile can leave you feeling self-conscious about letting anyone see your teeth. That empty space can affect how you speak, and it can make eating more difficult. It also allows your teeth to shift, and it may lead to bone loss in your jaw and more lost teeth.
A dental bridge can work wonders to fill those empty spaces in your smile. Bridges are made with the same materials as crowns, and they can replace one or more teeth. Thanks to the development of dental implants, your bridge can be stronger and more secure than ever. You can even replace a single tooth with an implant and a crown.
Visit Summit Dental to discover how you can get dental crowns and bridges in Hackensack. Call 201-366-7001 to schedule your appointment. You can also make an appointment online.

Great dentist and staff. Very glad I chose to come here for my dental visit. Definitely recommend to friends and family!
This was my first visit at a new dentist office and I was nervous to get my checkup. I enjoyed my hygienist Carmen, the cleaning it was very thorough and the staff was very professional. I will definitely be back for my 6 month visit!
Dr. LaPera had been my dentist for 15 years. He is extremely professional and has a wonderful pleasant manner. I recommended him to a friend from NYC and she now goes regularly. I am fortunate to have found him when I moved from NY.
Excellent dental practice. I have been a patient for 20 years. The doctors and staff are professional, on time and caring. Great communication and they always put the patient’s needs first. I have recommended Summit Dental to other friends who have also been highly satisfied. My teeth love these guys.
This is the best dentist I have been to. The place is very clean they have been sanitizing everything down before covid-19 came into existence. The doctor is the best dentist i know of he is very kind, patient, and gentle. His work is perfect.
I would highly recommend this dental practice for all dental care. Dr. Le Pera is a true perfectionist and his care for the patients is his main priority. My experience is my main focus to this review. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Carmen, the Hygienist, is also a wonderful asset to the practice. She is thorough with her cleanings and care for her patients. Definitely an A+
Loved my hygienist Carmen. She gave me lots of helpful tips and didn’t use electric tools to clean. I loved this because I have a lot of sensitivity and the electric tools exacerbates my symptoms. Which means she listened to my worries and honored them. Dr. Le Pera is awesome as always and keeps me well informed.
Really the best dentist I could ever ask for. I know they are a trusted source and Dr. L is truly one of a kind. Someone who genuinely cares about his clients- it always feels like family. I do all my work here- what I love is that if Dr. L is super honest – and if he knows of someone better suited for a particular procedure he will tell me transparently and recommend the best. No dentist can beat him. He doesn’t look to do more work than needed and always takes a conservative approach to help retain your natural teeth as much as possible. (Important to me since I’ve broken my 3 front teeth in half due to a fall and he’s done brilliant veneers). The receptionist and support staff are lovely as well. And if you need a cleaning ask for Carmen – she’s fantastic.
From the warm welcome upon arrival, to the thorough cleaning by Carmen the Hygienist, to the professional and gentle exam by Dr Le Pera, my experience was terrific. I’ll be back!
It is nearly impossible to say how much your new crown or bridge will cost until your dentist has had a chance to examine your mouth and work up a treatment plan. You’ll have a chance to ask any questions so that you know what to expect, plus we’ll make sure you have all the information needed to decide what’s best for your situation.
Many dental insurance plans cover a portion of treatment using crowns and bridges. You would need to check with your individual insurance company to see what they will pay for so you can determine your out-of-pocket cost.
Dental crowns can be used in many situations to repair a damaged tooth or replace a missing tooth. If you have a broken or worn tooth, a crown will cap it to restore your chewing power and prevent further problems. Crowns can also be used with dental implants to replace a missing tooth.
Dental crowns and bridges are a fantastic investment in your smile. Most of our patients can expect their new crown or bridge to last at least five to seven years after placement. However, these restorations can last longer, especially if you take care not to chew hard, gummy, or sticky foods.
We can see you as soon as tomorrow!
