Great dentist and staff. Very glad I chose to come here for my dental visit. Definitely recommend to friends and family!
This was my first visit at a new dentist office and I was nervous to get my checkup. I enjoyed my hygienist Carmen, the cleaning it was very thorough and the staff was very professional. I will definitely be back for my 6 month visit!
Dr. LaPera had been my dentist for 15 years. He is extremely professional and has a wonderful pleasant manner. I recommended him to a friend from NYC and she now goes regularly. I am fortunate to have found him when I moved from NY.
Excellent dental practice. I have been a patient for 20 years. The doctors and staff are professional, on time and caring. Great communication and they always put the patient’s needs first. I have recommended Summit Dental to other friends who have also been highly satisfied. My teeth love these guys.
This is the best dentist I have been to. The place is very clean they have been sanitizing everything down before covid-19 came into existence. The doctor is the best dentist i know of he is very kind, patient, and gentle. His work is perfect.
I would highly recommend this dental practice for all dental care. Dr. Le Pera is a true perfectionist and his care for the patients is his main priority. My experience is my main focus to this review. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Carmen, the Hygienist, is also a wonderful asset to the practice. She is thorough with her cleanings and care for her patients. Definitely an A+
Loved my hygienist Carmen. She gave me lots of helpful tips and didn’t use electric tools to clean. I loved this because I have a lot of sensitivity and the electric tools exacerbates my symptoms. Which means she listened to my worries and honored them. Dr. Le Pera is awesome as always and keeps me well informed.
Really the best dentist I could ever ask for. I know they are a trusted source and Dr. L is truly one of a kind. Someone who genuinely cares about his clients- it always feels like family. I do all my work here- what I love is that if Dr. L is super honest – and if he knows of someone better suited for a particular procedure he will tell me transparently and recommend the best. No dentist can beat him. He doesn’t look to do more work than needed and always takes a conservative approach to help retain your natural teeth as much as possible. (Important to me since I’ve broken my 3 front teeth in half due to a fall and he’s done brilliant veneers). The receptionist and support staff are lovely as well. And if you need a cleaning ask for Carmen – she’s fantastic.
From the warm welcome upon arrival, to the thorough cleaning by Carmen the Hygienist, to the professional and gentle exam by Dr Le Pera, my experience was terrific. I’ll be back!
Gum disease can often lurk silently in your mouth with no visible symptoms in its early stages. However, as it progresses, your gums may become puffy and red and sore the touch. Your gums may also bleed when you brush and floss. During advanced gum disease, your teeth can become loose and fall out eventually if gum disease is left untreated.
Your gum disease treatment at Summit Dental will be as comfortable as possible. We’ll use a local anesthetic to numb your mouth so that you don’t feel a thing. Plus, you’ll have your choice of sedation options, ranging from mild laughing gas to a deep sedative that will put you in a “twilight” state in which you won’t experience any of the sights, sounds, or smells of your procedure.
For most people, their gum disease treatment will take approximately one hour, about the same length of time as a routine checkup. Our team will clean plaque, tartar, and bacteria from around and beneath your gumline so that your gums can begin to heal. Depending on your circumstances, your treatment may take slightly longer or shorter.
We can see you as soon as tomorrow!
